Combining just indigo watercolor paint, which is one of my favorite colors, and leaving the white of the watercolor paper, I was inspired  to paint the winter scene that I pass each morning on my winter walks in Vermont. The cool blues evoke the feeling of cold accented only by the one remaining orange autumn leaf.
