Harbor Wave captures  the motion, force, and magnitude of a Tsunami. Capturing dark against light in monochromatic values punctuated by sea green and blues, I painted the work in oil on linen. Layers of oil paint built up to impasto contribute to the look of volume and force of this thundering wave.
