Here I enjoyed the challenge of showing the movements and skill or a toreador, his red cape and bull, in an arena in Spain. “Duende” implies danger or the edge of death. The painting is another example of my preference for painting figures in action, this time with a charging bull. Use of highly textured oil paint enhances the action.
