Welcome to my new and vastly enhanced website. During the period of time while it was in process, I reflected upon where I have been artistically. And I thought about my journey ahead. From the time I was a child until now, I have always enjoyed art. Creating art provides the opportunity for the artist to share beauty, majesty, mystery, and to make emotional connections. Art can heal or be a catalyst for the maker and viewer to think, reflect, imagine, feel emotion and elevate thoughts beyond the concerns of the day or troubled times. Art should provide a dialogue and be a centering influence for both. Art is non-verbal, yet universal.
Whether I am sculpting, painting in oils or watercolor or ink, each medium quietly reflects my personality, and deep concern and love of nature and humanity.
I am deeply grateful to Margaret Donovan and John Conte of Temblor Creative Group, Manchester Center, Vermont. Their diligent efforts and creativity made my new artistic website a reality.
