On a personal note, my husband and I have just recently moved from Shaftsbury to North Bennington, Vt. to a lovely new home with waterfalls just beyond our deck. I expect to be studying, sketching and eventually painting this stunning feature, but as an artist I am aware of the difficulty of painting moving water well. Maybe, like Monet painting the famous cathedral, I will repeat the exercise hundreds of times. I am sure that I will never tire of witnessing its beauty.
