Wisdom is an oil painting on linen of an elderly Vermont farmer smoking his pipe in front of his beloved Vermont barn.

Pappy, as he was called, was a  quintessential Vermont farmer with great character, wisdom and love of the environment. In his memory, I still buy maple syrup produced on his land.
