The Poet’s Vision

$850.00

This oil painting was directly inspired by my first reading of the poem Light Snow by R. Marshall Witten. He describes his mind drawing lines that formed polyhedrons between snowflakes. The poem ends with the words: “perhaps my need to organize the scattered snowflakes.”  In my interpretation of his poem, the bottom broken line  triangle deliberately provides a window for viewing the mountains behind.

Medium: oil on linen
