On Guard (llama). Guardian of an alpaca flock in Vermont, this male llama takes his job seriously. Yet it was his somewhat haughty air as he peered down over his nose at me from his great height, that captured my interest. A bit self- important and funny, I sought to capture the gentle side of his nature.
