Courting Ecstasy

This sculpture was inspired by the grace and lithe silhouette of a crane in courting gesture, and by my love of oriental art. The elongated pose allows for one continuous flow of line from beak through neck, back and legs. Her head raised to the sky  evokes the elegance of a dancer.
